First of all I need to say, I'm so excited about this book because I absolutely love the author. I've been listening to Chrystal's Podcast, Chrystal's Chronicles, for the past 3 years because she has a sincere heart to encourage and empower women to be who God is calling us to be by providing practical advice on all manner of women's issues. She opens up her own life and is very transparent about both the successes and failures to help her audience.

Her book "She's Still There" is no different. This book is about becoming the woman you were meant to be while at the same time accepting the woman you are today. Chrystal uses personal examples from her own life to share how she's drifted off course, how God has guided her all along, and how He can and will do the same for us.

It's a thick book but the chapters are very short so you feel really accomplished as you quickly get through each chapter. Also, Chrystal's style of writing makes you feel like you are sitting on the couch talking with her over a cup of coffee so it's a relatively easy read.

I think this book is so important for all women as it touches on topics such as emotional wellness, reaching your goals, overcoming heartache, guilt, shame, and overall learning how to appreciate your life right now while you work towards growth.

Chrystal talks about parenting, marriage, being a single mom, and growing into the woman that she is today. No matter where you are in life I truly believe there is something in this book that can help you grow more into the women God made you to be.
